I’m rereading Brubaker’s entire run before the movie tomorrow. And even though I said in Comics Cavern’s contest, which I desperately want to win more than anything Matt, that the Bucky Cap vs Tea Party arc was my favorite, rereading it I can’t help but reflect on how good the Out of Time/Winter Soldier arc was. Well placed flashbacks to the war, amazing artwork, a reflection on the light and dark side of both Captain America and the war, compelling characters, the ability to come into an established story and carve out your own niche. He doesn’t need the Red Skull. I can’t help but notice some similarities to these first few arcs and the recent Captain America #1. But I just wanted to say that, as a comic fan, I don’t think you can find a better technically executed Captain America arc
