I love the subtle subtext of their entire interaction so far, which can be summed up with Damian basically saying, “You realize I’m just gonna kill you some day, right? Bruce and Dick play the game because it would bother them to kill you or bother them if they didn’t play the game and innocent people died. Sooner or later I just won’t give a shit. I can totally live with that. You get that right? Cause I don’t feel like you.”
Gotta say, despite my love for Damian, 14 issues into this series he hasn’t had very many good moments. Serious Grant Morrison, you can’t just use him as a plot tool to fuck everything up so the story keeps moving every issue…. oh wait
